Visit Uganda Tomorrow: A Corona Crisis Update
These are difficult times, in so many ways. Although it can be expected that everyone will be affected by the corona crisis, the tourism sector is hit particularly hard. As international and domestic tourism will be restricted worldwide, tour operators, accommodation providers and others tourism companies go through very difficult times. This also applies to the various members of the impact cluster. It goes to show that tourism is a sector that can be affected severely by external factors that are almost impossible to predict or control.
As impact cluster we keep working hard to help develop the Ugandan adventure and cultural tourism sector in an inclusive and sustainable fashion. We wish everyone lots of strength during the crisis. We have good hopes that the tourism industry finds resilience to endure the crisis… and to come back stronger than ever!
